Linear-elastic isotropic material, Young's modulus E.
Boundary conditions
Fully clamped at both ends; a uniformly distributed transverse load q.
Measured quantity
Mid-span deflection δ = qL⁴/(384EI) and end (hogging) moment qL²/12.
