- Linear-elastic isotropic material, E and ν.
- Boundary conditions
- Remote uniaxial tension σ; symmetry used to model a quarter.
- Measured quantity
- Hoop stress at the hole edge, σθθ(a,θ) = σ(1−2cos2θ); peak 3σ (Kt = 3) at θ = 90°.
