Problem statement
- Geometry
- Quarter-circle curved beam, mean radius 4.22, depth 0.2, width 0.1 (consistent units).
- Material
- Linear-elastic isotropic material, E = 10×10⁶, ν = 0.25.
- Boundary conditions
- Clamped at one end; a unit force at the free end (in-plane and out-of-plane load cases).
- Measured quantity
- Tip displacement along the load direction for both load cases.
