Problem statement
- Geometry
- 90° sector of a hemispherical shell, radius 10 m, thickness 0.04 m.
- Material
- E = 68.25 GPa, ν = 0.3.
- Boundary conditions
- Symmetry on the cut edges, a point restrained vertically; concentrated loads Fx = +2 kN and Fy = −2 kN 90° apart.
- Measured quantity
- Radial displacement at the loaded point A.
Script
